The Occupational Certificate: Bookkeeper prepares learners to perform bookkeeping and accounting support functions within businesses, government institutions and other organisations. The programme develops the knowledge, practical skills and workplace competence required to process financial transactions, maintain accounting records, perform reconciliations, administer payroll-related information and contribute to the preparation of financial reports. The qualification integrates Knowledge Modules, Practical Skill Modules and Work Experience Modules in accordance with the QCTO occupational curriculum.
